A cricket club management game where you are the president, not the coach. Pick three sides from one squad every week, keep the captain and the committee onside, sign sponsors, hire staff and build up the ground, then face the AGM vote that decides whether you keep the job.

Inspired by old school Cricket Coach, Football Manager, and the headaches of running real life cricket clubs Most cricket management games put you in charge of a county, a state side or a franchise. This one is about the club down the road: grade and district cricket, teams, the volunteers, the committee and the AGM. It is the middle of winter Nobody has picked up a bat since March. The Annual General Meeting is upstairs at the bowling club, twenty-two people in a room set for sixty, and the Treasurer is a long way into the accounts before it becomes clear the president is not coming back. Nominations are called for. Nobody moves. Then somebody says your name. Somebody else seconds it before you have worked out who. Carried. You have a club at the bottom of Division 8, three sides to field by the start of the season, and a committee who will spend the next six months finding out what you are like. Where the club is Pick the country first: Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, the West Indies, the United States, Ireland, Scotland, or a mixed league across Europe. Then pick a state, county or province and play its own competition, or take the whole country as one league....
