♪ One perfectly round cookie comes rolling in... But what are you really drawing? An online party game for 2–4 players built on Japanese draw-along songs. Everyone follows the same song without knowing the subject, then every drawing replays stroke by stroke to show who went astray, and where.
القصة
What's a draw-along song? In Japan, kids grow up with ekaki-uta, or "draw-along songs." You sing along, and each line tells you what to draw: a circle here, a couple of lines there. Keep going to the end, and your scribbles turn into a picture. Kids usually know the song, and the answer, by heart. In Drawaoke, every song is brand new, the subject stays hidden until the very last line, and everyone draws at the same time. It stops being a kids' game. It becomes a puzzle. The song won't tell you where, or what (not until the last line) Everyone hears the same draw-along song and draws at the same time. But the song won't name the subject until its very last line. The song won't say "now draw the hand." All you get are lines like these: ♪ One perfectly round cookie comes rolling in, one on its own— ♪ A big bag swells out sideways from behind the cookie, round and full. The cookie is easy enough. Put it in the middle. But the bag? Which side? How much of it hides behind the cookie? And how big is "big"?
