A woman dies and a demon is born. Yerba cannot recall her past life, but has been accused of heresy and placed in the custody of Hell under the supervision of the cruel angel, Mastema. However, she has met Satan, the demon of a long-forgotten pagan deity who has hatched a plan to topple the regime of the "One True God" and free the wrongly convicted from Hell...
