They Come in Fives is a story-rich collectible card game with a dark, slightly horror-inspired atmosphere, set in a world where urban legends turn into devilish contracts. You are the Reaper, working on Lucifer’s payroll. Souls go down, bodies stay to fight for you. With each call answered, you build an army of agents, aiming to overthrow the boss and claim his throne. Choose your descent On Earth, you explore modern myths and urban legends: uncovering government experiments and corporate secrets, collecting sinners, and expanding your roster of Agents. Defeat is temporary; every story adds to your power. In Hell, the rules change. A roguelike gauntlet of nine infernal floors where your Agents can die for real. Lose one, and they’re gone for the rest of the run. Lose too many, and your uprising ends in disgrace. Features Fast 5v5 battles Short clashes that fit both quick sessions and long, obsessive runs. Urban legends Unravel both well-known and forgotten myths: from Bloody Mary and eerie phone calls to the Polybius arcade game and the infamous Soviet sleep experiments. Six Hells to Conquer Bureaucratic, corporate, populist, conspiratorial, digital and militaristic: six distinct roguelike descents, each nine floors deep with its own faction, enemies, and sinners to subdue. Army of the soulless Collect and command agents whose bodies remain after the soul is gone. Real-world agents No fantasy tropes. Characters grounded in reality, shaped by urban legends, conspiracies, and human fears. Unique abilities Every agent has a distinct role and power. Their skills shift momentum and decide the outcome. Dark upgrades Infect your agents with worms to enhance them. Dozens of twisted parasites fuel a sophisticated system of power and sacrifice. Technomancy Unleash viruses and patches mid-fight. Hack enemy gadgets to cripple them or patch your own to survive. In this world, code is the only magic. Stories to keep you up at night Every dispatcher call drags you into a new grim story and a new contract.
