A first person horror puzzle adventure with an emphasis on interactivity. Solve cryptic puzzles with logic and careful observation while dreaming in different rooms of a mysterious house in the woods. Completing a dream-puzzle makes the dream real in the house. The game is inspired by Myst, Blue Prince, The Witness, The House of Leaves, Twin Peaks Season 3, liminal space games such as Pools and Limscape, anomaly horror games such as The Exit 8 and Cabin Factory as well the metafictional rabbit holes of games such as Fez, Braid, Tunic, and Animal Well.
Historia
I've had the same dream every night since the moon fell. There is a house in the void of night. I/we sleep on the rust. I/we hear the knocking in the walls. I/we feel the heat from the furniture. and I hyperventilate to wake up. Now, after years of searching, I've finally found it. The house from the dream is real . A mysterious house calls out from our dreams The House Dreams Along With Them is a first person puzzle adventure with an emphasis on interactivity: pick up, tap, click, throw, twist, consensually takeover , tinker, and intuit puzzle solutions while dreaming in the different rooms of the house. Solving a room inside a lucid dream makes it real in the house. But each awakened room brings us one step closer to the enigmatic reification of night . An adventure inspired by non-violent, atmospheric forebears THDAWT is a game about solving puzzles in a mysterious house inspired by puzzle adventures such as Myst, The Witness, The Room, and real life escape rooms. Use our intuition and curiosity to find the secrets in each dream realm. An inquisitive mind that can think logically, abstractly, and meta-narratively and (possibly) a notepad will be all we need to...
