Story
Your little sister has been dragged into a nightmare. You grew up on horror movies. Now it is your turn to survive one. 80s Horror Survivors is a top-down action roguelite inspired by the monsters, atmosphere, and pop culture of 1980s horror. Dodge relentless hordes, collect experience, and combine strange weapons with VHS companions and supernatural powers. Build a screen-clearing arsenal as you fight your way toward your sister. TURN HORROR INTO YOUR ARSENAL Unleash swarms of flies, fire paired red-and-cyan beams through 3D glasses, chain lasers between enemies, summon energy-firing totems, and call down lightning from the sky. Mix orbiting weapons, explosive dark energy, enemy-luring decoys, and spinning tornadoes to shape each run around your own combination of attacks. Choose upgrades that increase damage, attack speed, range, and other weapon-specific effects. Experiment with combinations and evolve your firepower as the hordes close in. COLLECT VHS COMPANIONS AND POWERS Unlock a catalog of 15 VHS companions, summons, and support powers, plus a final mystery tape.
