À Deriva cover art

A fisherman lives on your computer's taskbar. He fishes on his own while you work, from the Araguaia to the sea off Noronha. You glance over now and then, click when one bites, and buy a bigger boat. It also runs as a wallpaper.

Story

It lives on your taskbar The game opens as a thin strip above your taskbar and stays there while you use the computer. If you want more room, it becomes a wallpaper and fills the whole screen, behind your icons. He fishes on his own You don't have to do anything. The fish bites when it feels like it and the fisherman reels the line in. If you happen to be watching when it bites, one click makes the catch better. If you're not, the fish goes into the hold anyway. From the Araguaia to the open sea You start on the Araguaia, white beach and shallow water. Then come the Rio Negro, the flooded forest of Furnas, the coast of Santa Catarina and the sea off Fernando de Noronha, where whatever bites is usually bigger than your boat. Each kind of weather brings a different fish. Wildlife...
