Story
Pack your backpack, link items together, automate attacks. Backpack Ascendancy is a real-time automation inventory roguelite for one or two players. Bring every item you find with you as long as they fit in your backpack and find combinations to slay foes! EVERY SHAPE HAS A PLACE Knives, halberds, armor and relics each take up a different shapes in a grid that grows as you progress. Items that touch share bonuses to eachother. You can rearrange the pack at any time, including in the middle of a fight. LET THE CATALYST TAKE OVER A Catalyst Stone makes the items touching it act on their own. Weapons beside it swing whenever an enemy is in range, and potions wait until you are hurt or their last effect has worn off. You can still click everything else in the pack yourself. GROW YOUR ASCENDANCY Each run earns crystals, which you spend on a constellation of 200+ permanent upgrades. Different regions of the ascendancy tree speed up the game, enlarge your backpack or strengthen spells and summons. BRING A FRIEND Invite a friend on Steam and play the whole run together online.
