CHAINSPIRE is a soul-like platformer for 1–4 players connected by a real physical chain. Your friend will become your enemy the very moment they stop listening to you.
Story
CHAINSPIRE is a co-op soulslike platformer for 1-4 players in which the party is bound by a fully simulated physical chain. Combat, platforming and puzzles - all of it is built around that piece of iron. It brings together challenging combat and bosses like in Dark Souls and Elden Ring, and a shared chain that ties the fate of the whole party together like in Chained Together. CO-OP AND THE CHAIN Your friend becomes your enemy the moment they stop listening to you. The chain here is the real thing: it catches on geometry, goes taut, and drags back whoever wasn't paying attention. The difficulty climbs steadily as you go, and the bigger the party, the harder it gets for everyone in it. CUSTOMIZATION CHARACTER Make your character your own. Customize the colors of their clothing and armor, combining different shades to create a look that stands out. BOSSES Every boss is unique and comes with its own attacks. You learn each of them separately, and nobody gets one on the first run. AI COMPANION Co-op is optional. If you have no one to play with, or you'd rather make the climb alone, an AI companion takes the other end of the chain. It follows your route, fights alongside you...
