Story
They cheat. So do you. Take a seat across from the cheats of a nighttime gambling den. Cheat Koi-Koi is a single-player roguelite about reading your opponent, choosing your tricks, and winning at hanafuda. Work your way to the den's owner, Ririka, and beat her for the prize. Take the points, or call koi-koi Koi-koi is a Japanese card game played with hanafuda. Match cards from the same month to collect scoring combinations called yaku. Take your points now, or call koi-koi and play on for a stronger hand. If your opponent makes a yaku first, you get nothing from that round. How much are you willing to risk for one more card? Watch for your chance to cheat Peek at a hidden card. Swap a card in your hand. Watch your opponent's hands and eyes, then choose when to make your move. Get caught and you pay a fine and lose access to that trick for a while. Your opponents cheat too. Keep an eye on the cards—and the face across the table. Choose your opponent. Set your stakes.
