Story

Draw it. Deploy it. Watch it fight. Doodle Steel is a lane-battle strategy game where every unit is something you drew. Sketch a hull with the pencil, add tracks, a cannon, armor plates, balloons or a propeller, then send your doodle rolling, flying or sailing across the page to smash the enemy base. A sketchbook war across WWII Fight through 108 battlefields on 17 fronts, from the bridges of the Meuse and the beaches of Dunkirk to Stalingrad, Omaha Beach, the jungles of Guadalcanal and Leyte Gulf. Shots hit whatever they reach first. Armor only protects the side you drew it on. Bombs come from above, mines from below. Armor bounces weak shots. Anything weaker than the plate pings off harmlessly. Physics you can draw. A long...

A long gun on short tracks tips over, heavy tanks bog down in mud and collapse bridges, and enough balloons or propellers make anything fly. Guns have limits. A barrel can't aim through its own hull, so...
