FOG is a role-playing game centered on combat and character progression, with a clever integration of Minesweeper-style gameplay. Built-in mechanics such as Chain Fog Dispelling allow even newcomers unfamiliar with traditional Minesweeper rules to get started quickly. Players take on the roles of distinctive heroes, clearing layer upon layer of fog to challenge monsters corrupted by malevolent power. Combat uses a semi-real-time turn-based system, and players can flexibly use various items to support their battles. Defeating monsters grants resources that can be used to strengthen heroes and take on even tougher challenges. The game has no death penalty; instead, it offers death rewards—come and taste death for yourself!
