Story
Ghost Hunting Journal is a story-driven adventure game set in Riverrun, a fictional metropolis in China. The protagonists are an unusual pair of paranormal agents. Despite their completely opposite personalities, they work together with remarkable chemistry, each possessing their own unique abilities. They specialize in taking on all kinds of supernatural cases. Throughout the game, players will switch between the two protagonists and embark on a one-of-a-kind ghost-hunting adventure filled with terrifying screams, playful banter, and unexpected encounters. After death, souls are supposed to be collected by Heaven and given the opportunity to enter the cycle of reincarnation. However, some souls remain bound by the obsessions they held in life, choosing to abandon reincarnation and linger in the human world. These spirits are known as “Stubborn Souls.” Most remain unnoticed by the living, but a few make their presence known, giving rise to paranormal stories and urban legends.
