Story
Hearts, rebuilt as a puzzle for one Hearts Extreme takes Hearts, the classic trick-taking game, and rebuilds it as a single-player puzzle. Every level sets a different goal, and you have to hit it exactly with the hand you are dealt. The NPCs' hands stay face up too, right through the game. The original Hearts is a card game about reading your opponents, but in bringing it to a screen we rebuilt it as a puzzle: you study everyone's hand and work out the best play. You don't need to know Hearts. The game teaches you the rules step by step as you play. Six kinds of goals Match — win exactly the required number of tricks Avoid — never take the marked cards, right through to the end Collect — the other way around: those cards have to end up yours Capture — win a trick with a card of the given rank Predict — declare before the round starts, and finish exactly as declared Disrupt — hold to your own prediction while breaking your opponents' Ten different decks are waiting for you.
