Penelope wants someone to take the pain and anxiety away... She tells people she is excited about her life. She's lying. She's terrified about getting older... Then there is Kyte... Charming, and strangely calm about the future. Penelope can stop pretending and be herself around him. He's in the 1984 Yearbook? Kyte calls an old campus building "the tomb." Osiris, their tutor, has only seen that nickname in private society letters written decades ago... He checks the archive. Kyte is in the 1984 yearbook? But that's decades ago...
