Story
Move farther, or paint more nearby? MOVETOON is a turn-based competitive board game about moving and painting territory with ink. Simply choose a destination and confirm. Yet the relationship between movement distance and painting range makes every turn a meaningful decision. How far you move changes how you paint Move up to 6 steps at a time. Distance follows the shortest horizontal and vertical route around holes and the opponent's piece. Ink spreads from your destination; the path you travel is not painted . Staying in place gives you the widest painting range. Moving 1–2 steps paints a smaller area, 3–4 steps paints nearby squares, and 5–6 steps paints only your destination . Head for distant unpainted squares or cover nearby ground in your color. You cannot stay in place on two consecutive turns of your own. Who will have the most territory at the end? You can repaint the opponent's color, but not the square occupied by their piece. Once all playable squares are painted, the player with more squares of their color wins . Equal areas are a draw.
