Story
Build your kingdom. Pick your battles. Palisade is a real time territorial strategy game where you command borders rather than individual soldiers. Draw offensive orders directly on the map, manage provincial supply lines, and decide when to fortify or strike. Make room to grow Click or drag along borders to advance into neutral land or push into hostile territory. Frontlines shift dynamically based on troop concentration, while rivers, mountain passes, and rough terrain dictate how quickly borders move. Secure vital choke points early, or mass forces for a direct push against an enemy capital. Keep your army supplied Settlements muster troops for the frontline, but each one requires continuous gold upkeep. Marketplaces generate gold from the surrounding territory to fund expansion. Castles extend your influence and increase troop capacity through completed road connections. Upgrade them to make them harder to capture. Road networks turn isolated buildings into an efficient supply grid. Connecting settlements to castles and markets reduces maintenance costs and accelerates reinforcement. Expanding blindly without roads quickly empties your treasury. Find a way...
