28 days ago, a call brought the news: your brother’s checkpoint had been overrun. The dead now surround it. Your brother took a different path. He’s a scientist searching for a cure. You’ve spent your life as a cop, fighting and staying alive. Reaching him will take a reinforced vehicle and a way to leave your own checkpoint in the hands of the U.S. Army. You’re the last soldier alive at the only checkpoint still operating in the city’s north. Your orders are simple: get as many uninfected civilians to safety as possible. If the infection escapes Chicago, the whole world could be next. Stand your ground. Purchase more weapons and strengthen your defenses. The Army says it will be there in 30 days. After that, your raid begins. Fight through the wreckage of Chicago, reach your brother, and do whatever it takes to save him. Decide their fate with a cool head. Every survivor has a story to share. That doesn’t mean you should take their word for it. Examine each person closely before making your decision. Do you clear them to pass? Keep them for another screening? Or has the infection gone too far, leaving elimination as the only option? Their fate is in your hands. ...
