Story
An SQL course that likes you back. TsundereSQL is an SQL course inside an anime visual novel. You type SQL into a query editor, run it on DuckDB and see the rows come back. When you submit, the story moves on only if your query also gives the right answer on data you have not seen. Most of your time is spent writing queries; the story scenes come between problems. You start at your first SELECT and work through 224 problems across 14 modules, up to window functions, cohorts and production-style data with messy dates, NULLs and duplicates. Three instructors teach the modules, and each one warms up to you as you improve. Of the 224 problems, 220 are SQL exercises. The other four are analyst-judgment cases, where you write the decision and your reasoning instead of a query. SQL Foundations and Aggregation & GROUP BY : pull the rows you need and get totals and rates you can trust. Joins & Set Operations : combine tables without quietly doubling your numbers. Subqueries & CTEs : break a hard question into steps you can read back. Window Functions : rankings, running totals, QUALIFY, gaps and islands, sessions.
