Story
Lindenhof School. At night. And it knows what you did. Veiled Whispers is a first-person psychological horror game set in a single hand-built location: the ground floor of a German school at night. It does more than make you run. It plays with you: rules you have to obey. An exam about your own sister. Voices on the PA that lie. A corridor that repeats. And a choir singing inside the air vents. Two stories. The same school. Other nights. I · Lena (present day, 8 chapters) Lena, 12, has been missing for 23 days. On her last afternoon she called Kim, her older sibling. Kim declined the call: “Stop being so dramatic.” Now Kim is locked inside the school at night. A man in a cloth mask walks the corridors, and the school wants Kim to remember. II · Linden Sparrows (December 1979, 4 chapters) After the dress rehearsal, the seven children of the school choir vanished. No one ever found them. Until three weeks ago, Jakob was the eighth singer, then his voice broke. Tonight, seven voices sing a scale beneath his window. The footprints in the snow lead to the school. Every child is a note.
