Story

A hub that's always on Start in your own space, then step into the shared Hub, a persistent world running around the clock. There's no lobby queue and no matchmaking wait. Other people are already there. VR and desktop, same world Play in a headset or play on your monitor. Everyone lands in the same space and can talk, move, and handle the same objects. Nobody gets a separate version of the game, and nobody needs to own a headset to hang out with friends who do. Your avatar, your identity Browse and equip avatars made by the community and uploaded straight through Steam Workshop. Subscribe to one and it's ready the next time you launch. Full-body tracking is supported if you have the hardware for it. Worlds built by players Explore levels designed and published by other players. Hangouts, game worlds, showcases, and things nobody has thought of yet. New ones appear as people publish them, so the list is never the same for long.
