Experience the Martian invasion from three sides of the war. Based on H. G. Wells' classic 1898 novel, The War of the Worlds Trilogy combines first-person survival, Martian warfare, and Victorian city building into three distinct game experiences set during the same catastrophic invasion of Earth. Survive the machines. Lead the invasion. Defend humanity. STORY MODE Experience the invasion from the ground as an ordinary man caught in the collapse of Victorian England. Explore a living world that changes as society falls apart. Travel through towns, homes, countryside, battlefields, and ruined settlements while searching for supplies and a way to survive. Hide from towering Fighting Machines, distract Martian patrols, evade searching tentacles, escape devastating Heat Rays, interact with survivors, and use whatever the world gives you to stay alive. As the war intensifies, survival becomes more desperate. Travel by foot, bicycle, horse cart, boat, and train, scavenge abandoned buildings, cross dangerous occupied territory, and eventually fight alongside the military using artillery powerful enough to challenge the Martian machines.
