PORTOLAN is a text-based trading and management game set in the 16th-century Age of Discovery. Build your own trading company by buying and selling goods, planning profitable voyages, and managing your fleets. Trade Across the World Explore ports across Europe, the Caribbean, India, Southeast Asia, and East Asia. Compare local prices and discover routes that connect distant markets. Plan Your Voyages Choose which goods to buy, balance your cargo capacity and available funds, and decide where to sell. Review your trading results to refine your routes and grow your business. Sail and Manage Your Fleets Navigate the world map yourself or use automatic sailing. Set up automated trading fleets, manage their routes, and keep track of their profits as your company expands. A World of Trade, Presented Through Text PORTOLAN combines a 2D world map with a text-focused interface for trading, voyage planning, and fleet management.
