Prehistoric Pit is a bullet heaven roguelite with voxel graphics. The player controls one of nine dinosaurs in an arena that fills with waves of Ice Age mammals, while weapons fire automatically. Between waves the player picks upgrades, limited to four weapon slots per run. Every weapon evolves into a second form at level 30 with its matching relic. A run lasts about 30 minutes across volcanic stages. Each dinosaur has its own exclusive starting weapon, active ability and passive; eight of them are unlocked through in-run challenges.

PrehistoricPit is a bullet heaven roguelite in a colorful voxel style. You play a dinosaur, the pit fills with Ice Age mammals, and your weapons fire on their own. You steer, dodge, and pick upgrades. A full run lasts about 30 minutes and ends with a meteor. Every weapon and every fossil you pick stays with you until the run ends. There is no swapping and no selling back. Your third and fourth slots are not even open at the start; you earn them by surviving and killing enough in a single run. So a run is 25 weapons and 23 fossils competing for four plus four places. Armor or speed. Crit or coverage. A weapon that scales off reach or one that scales off raw damage. You will never fit everything into one build, which is why no two runs feel alike. Seven of the weapons scale off stats nobody normally builds for offense: Amber Shards grow with Thorns, Slipstream with movement speed, Aegis Slam with armor, Sanguine Vine with max HP. A tank build and a glass cannon build can both deal damage, just not with the same weapons. Take a weapon to level 30, find the relic that belongs to it, and it evolves.
