Re-release Originally released in 1999, Provincial Player is a Russian adventure game that combines a classic point-and-click quest with a collection of mini-games, including billiards and arcade games. A curious relic of late-90s Russian PC gaming, it's now back on Steam, restored and updated for modern systems. The game has been reverse-engineered and rebuilt from recovered source code, with improved stability and compatibility with modern operating systems, widescreen support, Steam Achievements, subtitles, fixes for bugs present in the original release, restored video and audio playback, and Steam Cloud support.
