Story
4:12 AM. That call has been ringing for twenty-seven years. December 20th, 1999. Ashwood, Pennsylvania — a half-empty town where a coal seam has burned underground since 1962. On the first night the county takes its overnight 911 desk back, the operator's chair belongs to Kate Morrow, who has spent six years unable to forget the one call she hung up on. Twelve nights remain until the old switchboard shuts down on New Year's Eve. Pile-ups on snowed-in roads. CPR instructions that aren't getting through. A grandmother with dementia who calls every night. And every night at 4:12 AM, a call comes in from an address that no longer exists — in the voice of a girl who disappeared fifteen years ago. Answer with your own voice Speak into your microphone and the caller listens — a local AI performs every character in real time. No dialogue trees: you listen, calm, press, and decide. Everything runs fully offline ; your voice never leaves your machine. Over 100 emergency calls 37 story calls across twelve nights, plus a pool of 66 more — from life-or-death first-aid guidance to the small, strange troubles of a town at night. Every call can end differently depending on how you handle it....
