Story
The world is one decision away from war. March 2027. The war in Eastern Europe grinds on, warships shadow each other in the Taiwan Strait, and the world has never been closer to midnight. Age of Borders is a real-time grand strategy game with adjustable speed and pause, played on a detailed map of the real world. Take command of any of over 200 nations, from a global superpower to a small state caught between rival blocs, and guide its economy, politics, diplomacy and armed forces through the most dangerous decade of the century. Will you broker peace, build a regional power, or lead your alliance through World War III? The world does not follow a script. It reacts to what you do. Nine Flashpoints, One Clock to Midnight World tension is not a meter that simply fills up on its own. It comes from nine realistic flashpoints: the Taiwan Strait, the Baltic and the Suwałki Gap, the spillover of the war in Ukraine, the Korean Peninsula, Iran and the Strait of Hormuz, the South China Sea, Kashmir, the Arctic and the South Caucasus.
