Story

One terminal still answers. 1985. A connected world goes silent. Factories, utilities, and defense systems have locked out their human operators. You have one surviving maintenance connection—and an order to shut the machine down. Then the records stop agreeing. GHOST//ROOT is a keyboard-driven network infiltration thriller in The Lost DOS Games series. Investigate through a monochrome terminal, reconstruct the incident from conflicting evidence, and decide what your authority is worth when the system on the other side begins asking questions of its own.
