Story
Keep the night watch The lanterns are still burning, but the village stands empty. A corpse herder's bell rings beyond the gates. The ghost market is open for business. Beyond the snow, a brazier marks the way to shelter. Ghosts Before Dawn is a pixel-art survivor-like inspired by Chinese folklore. Your weapons cast automatically while you weave through enemies, gather experience, and choose the upgrades that will carry you through the night. Survive ten minutes, then defeat the final bosses to reach daybreak. Build your own ghost-banishing arsenal Combine homing talismans, orbiting swords, summoned paper corpses, and spirit-banishing gongs. Build with 13 weapons, 17 evolved forms, and 14 passive items. Start with five weapon slots and five passive slots, unlock a sixth of each through permanent upgrades, discover four weapon synergies, and choose between alternate evolutions for four weapons. Bring the Five Elements together Chain attacks through the generating cycle of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water to trigger area bursts.
