Prepare turn by turn. Defend in real time. Pest Termina: Swarm Defense is a low-poly defense roguelike that splits every run into two halves. On the world map, you expand your territory one day at a time. When an alien horde raids one of your regions, you drop into that region's battlefield and the game switches to real-time combat. Everything you built and produced on the map is what you bring to the fight. The World Map — Turn-based Strategy One turn per day. Settle new regions across a randomly generated hex map and claim the wasteland around them. Three resources. Mines, housing and power plants supply Ore, Labor and Power. Production queues. Queue troops and turrets at Barracks, Robot Factories and Foundries; everything rolls out at the end of your turn. Raise a building's tier to unlock elite units. Research. Upgrade damage and armor for every unit line, and unlock two special research options for each unit and turret. Track the swarm. Watchtowers reveal where hordes are heading.
